Whenever I hear someone seriously say that “Life’s a journey, not a destination,” I have to resist making some smartass comment like “yeah, you keep doing that.” Current goals I have:
- Get a 4.0 (or at least not settle for something lower) at Thunderbird.
- Get a job that participates in the Pacific Century. IN the Pacific.
- Go to INSEAD in Singapore. Get an MBA.
- Name a girl Nausicaa. I’m thinking I can’t be picky about why I get to name her.
- Play pool better.
- Get a girlfriend. LOL YA RITE
- JLPT Level 1.
- Learn how to cook (more).
- Meet Yuu Aoi.
- Have a room that is the envy of all my friends
- Earn a lot of money. Live modestly. Or at least look like I’m living modestly. Sorta. (See consumer whoring.)
- Native-ish Chinese. (See above for equivalent in JLPT.)
- Learn a fourth language. French?
- Write two books. A non-fiction one, and a fiction one.
- Try to wake up at 6-7AM every day and go swimming for a bit.
- Stay in shape.
- Learn how to bartend.
- Make bookshelves of books that I’ve actually read.
- Yotsuba Clovers all over the world.
